Pastor Jesse’s Weekly Reflection
The race isn’t easy, but you’re not running alone. Keep the faith. Finish strong.
Life doesn't always look like we imagine. Sometimes the road is uphill, the path is full of obstacles, and the finish line feels like it's out of reach. In his final letter, Paul writes from a prison cell nearing the end of his life. He says in 2 Timothy 4:7, “I have fought the good fight.”
I have finished the race. I have kept the faith. Paul didn't say the race was easy. The journey was marked by hardship, betrayal. Pain, loneliness, and even physical suffering. But he didn't quit. He knew what he was running for and what was waiting for him at the end. Are you running towards the right finish line?
Your race might look uncertain right now. It might be filled with setbacks, slow progress, or even deep discouragement. But like Paul, you are not running alone. God is with you in every step, cheering you on, strengthening you, and walking beside you.
